Karma

I do believe that Karma is a real part of our lives. I think the way we treat others will come back to you! I've tried to treat people the way I would want to be treated...However, sometimes things don't always go the way you plan them. But I try...I try to be kind... I try to be loving... and I try to be the very best human that I can be. Because of my efforts, I'm often rewarded in so many ways!

I'm blessed

Forgiveness

Since I started this website  21/2 years ago I've been through some low points but mostly high points! I've discovered a lot about myself and I've learned about being a good friend, father, son and a good person all the way around. I've learned that money isn't everything but people sure like YOU when YOU have it! LOL! Or maybe it's just ME! They call me and say "What's up Mike Brown? Let's hang out!!!"  What I've discover is that it's MY fault! When I feel GOOD I make people around me feel GOOD! And when I'm down...Yikes!

Making the right decision for yourself takes a lot of strength! Learning to say, "NO" takes a lot of guts! I've always considered myself a leader  but nothing could be further from the truth! However,  I'm NOT a follower either...I'm just me! And I'm finally OK with that! I've forgiven myself for ALL the mistakes I've made!  Because I'm HUMAN!

Finally...:)

1987 NFL Draft

When I started doing comedy at R.A. Millikan in Long Beach, I was in the 11th grade. However, God also blessed me with the ability of speed and strength. I played football and basketball at Millikan while doing comedy at night. I started playing quarterback but later moved to linebacker after an injury to my thumb. I chose USC because it was the best way for me to be close to home and do comedy at many of the different comedy places in Southern California. I was blessed with skill of a great football player and a hilarious motherf%#r! And in 1984 to 1987, I was fortunate to have able to play football for the University of Southern California as a middle linebacker! I was also drafted number 204 in the 1987 NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers. Life has been very good to me!

An original poem

There is no sweeter sight,

Then the beauty of my love,

With my love, I can move mountains,

and touch the stars above,

If I were blind,

her true love would guide me to her soul,

With her true beauty that only I know,

I have been given a gift and a curse,

And now I wait,

I debate, hesitate, and try to relate,

Is it too late?

Her smile is so bright and is that for me?

And my heart will not stop waiting so patiently,

for that day…Our day!

When I see her smile again,

I will just let her be,

The love I remembered,

So fun,

So happy,

And so full of glee,

I will remember my time,

in her smile sunshine,

warming my pain,

and peeking my mind,

My beautiful gaviota.

A long time coming!

I love history because we can learn so much from it. We can learn from our misstakes as well as our success in life.

With my birthday passing last week, I've learned that I am a man. Not just a boy...but a real MAN! A man with dreams and goals; with hopes and desires. I am a man who has won some and lost some...But I still stand better then ever!

I will never quit being that man that some people once looked at with admiration. I am a man who is NOT perfect and I will fall from time to time and to only regroup and be better then I ever was.

We are not judged by how we fall but how we get back up... and finish the race!

I'm back bitches...I'm back!

I love the convenience of my online banking. It makes it real easy to see when I've miscalculated how much I had in my checking account after a weekend of drinking. Thank You Chase!

Feeling Strong Today

I think a real sign of maturity is the ability to see the errant in your ways, and then throw a temper tantrum in the middle of your floor!
